We’re pleased you’ve found it to our website, it’s a great way to find out more about Hope Church.
We meet for services on Sundays at 9:15am and 11:30am, with Hope Kids and Youth groups during both of the services at The Hope Centre, 10 St Margaret’s Street, Ipswich, IP4 2AT.
We’d love to make contact with you if you’re joining us in-person or online and get to know you more. Click on the button below to find out more about how to connect with us.
There is plenty of parking around Ipswich within walking distance of The Hope Centre, in the local car parks. There are also a number of bus stops nearby.
When you arrive you will be greeted by our fantastic Welcome Team and you can arrange for someone to meet you personally if you like.
Each service starts with worship led by a band and after about 20 minutes children go to their groups for their fun-packed activities. Later in the service one of the church leaders will preach a message from the Bible and you can hear our recent messages here. We usually take communion (bread and wine) together once a month. Our prayer ministry area is also available.
During the service the church will have an opportunity to give money into the offering, although many will give by other means, such as by standing order or on our giving page. There is no obligation to give to the church but we teach that this is good for people to do as part of their worship.
Drinking water is available in the building. We ask that there is no food or drink in the auditorium apart from water. Please do stay around to chat after the service either indoors or outside, refreshments are available after the service in the entrance café area.
If you would prefer to watch outside of the auditorium, there are areas in the building where you can watch the service on a TV screen, including in the baby change room, please ask a member of the welcome team to direct you.
During the services there are five groups for children, Shine (Age 1 – 2), Glow (Age 3 – 5), School years 1 & 2, School years 3 & 4 and School years 5 & 6. These groups start around 15-20 minutes into both services and a notice will be given when it’s time to leave the main service. All of our children’s work volunteers are well trained and have had all the appropriate safety checks. Visiting children are really welcome to come and join our groups. For more information, visit the Hope Kids page.
Youth in years 7 – 11 have their own groups that meet after the time of worship. Our youth work doesn’t end on Sundays – check out what else we’re up to during the week.
